The KNB Scholarship Program is a scholarship program provided by the Government of Indonesia to prospective students coming from developing countries to study full time to complete Master’s and Doctoral Degree at Indonesian universities, including Institut Teknologi Bandung. The term ‘KNB’ stands for Kemitraan Negara Berkembang or Partnerships (for) Developing Countries.

Application Steps
Step 1 - Verification by Embassy
Required documents:
✔ Curriculum Vitae
✔ Scan of valid passport
✔ English Proficiency Test (for non-English speaking applicants)
✔ Recommendation Letter from Employer/Immediate Supervisor (English/Bahasa)
✔ Academic Recommendation Letter from Previous Schools (English/Bahasa)
✔ Academic Certificate & Transcript (English/Bahasa) – Must be recognized by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the applicant’s country
Additional for Doctoral Applicants:
✔ Recommendation Letter from potential research supervisor (from a university participating in the KNB Scholarship)
✔ Statement of Purpose (English/Bahasa)
Step 2 - Embassy Review
Passed applicants will receive a Recommendation Letter from the Embassy.
